What is Be the Change?
The year 2018 celebrates the 125th birth anniversary year of the world-renowned Yoga Master Paramhansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi.
As a celebration of his life that was dedicated to the highest ideals, Ananda Sangha Pune is organizing a Walkathon titled “Be the Change.”
Yogananda said: “Change yourself, and you have done your part in changing the world.” Isn’t it true that the peace and strife out there in the world is a result of disharmony within us?
Be the Change Walkathon calls each one of us to step forward as a channel of the change we want to see in the world.
Meditation is the highest tool for change and we will offer a free Kriya Yoga meditation workshop at the end of the walkathon.
Our Be the Change Walkathon Pledge:
“I pledge to open my heart and radiate peace and harmony to all the world.”

The Science of KRIYA YOGA:
To all who are interested, we will offer the first step on the Path of Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda.
Paramhansa Yogananda writes of Kriya Yoga in Autobiography of a Yogi:
“One-half minute of revolution of energy around the sensitive spinal cord of man effects subtle progress in his evolution; that half-minute of Kriya equals one year of natural spiritual unfoldment.”
It is a life-changing practice. Come, aspire, attain the heights of your true potential!
