Surya Namaskar/Sun Salutation includes a set of 12 Asanas, which are placed in sequence. When we practice them, in addition to the benefits of the individual Asanas, Surya Namaskar:

- Strengthens spinal muscles and shoulders.
- Invigorates entire body.
- Integrates movement of body, breath, and energy.
- Helps awaken prana and bring it to the Brain; this enhances all mental functions and lifts consciousness.
